MISSION STATEMENT
Receive God, Believe in God and Be Led by God
This is a journey on the leading of the Holy Spirit through the gospel of God's power and salvation. We journey with you as you journey with us. John 3:16 states: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." He has given and it is incumbent for you to receive Jesus Christ. When you receive Him you must believe in Him. When you believe in Him you must allow him to lead you. These are processes that take you to the physical actualization of the supernatural aspect of Christianity. John 1:12 states, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." At this stage you have the right or the power to become a child of God. The benefits of becoming a child of God accrue in different proportions depending on where you are on the journey of becoming the child of God. When you operate based on the promptings and leading of the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, the powers and authority of God and His son rest upon you. "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God". Romans 8:14
Receive, Retain and Rely on the Power of the Holy Spirit
Our prophetic ministry is based on reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit: "Receiving, Retaining and Renewing the Holy Spirit of God in us and in others." Learning the workings of God through His Holy Spirit by operating in His anointing. Christianity is the manifestation of the supernatural powers of God in our world. The coming of Jesus Christ was a moment when God broke into our world to bring us into a new life, now and hereafter. Dependence on Him increases the presence and working of the Holy Spirit; doing in us what we couldn't do through self-help or self-improvement. Relying on the power of the Holy Spirit is about real experience of the enablement of supernatural energy to do good things through us and communication with God on daily basis. It is about finding and involving God in big and small issues in our lives.
Respond to the Needs of the Church and the World
To share the love of God. The Bible requires us to love God with all our heart. To love one another as He has loved us as evidence that we are Christians. He provides our physical and spiritual needs and we aim to spread this love to others. Salvation has been given to us as we were perishing so now we are justified by grace. The grace that is sufficient to assist us continually start afresh with God when we derail as we strive to overcome sin and all satanic hindrances. In the commandments love God and love people, Jesus reveals the heart of God onto His Church. He made spirituality practical and requires that His Church reflect his heart as he hears the groans of those who are disadvantaged. In this regards we will act as a voice for the innocent, the voiceless and pursue justice for the marginalized, the weak and the helpless. We intentionally resist being passive in the face of injustice, poverty, inequity and brokenness. (Isaiah 58:6-14, Matthew 25:31-46)
Beliefs
We are a body of Christians who follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Our faith is in Him. We believe that the Bible is the living and true Word of God. It is an account of God's faithfulness and love for all of us, and the guide for the way we live our lives.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the word of God, the final authority for faith and life as a Christian. It constitutes the divine and only rule of the Christian faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16).
God
We believe that God eternally exists in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Isaiah 44:6; 45:5-6; Matthew 5:48; Deut. 32:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We Jesus Christ is true God and true man who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on a cross for our sin and rose from the dead. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace. Philippians 2:6-11; Hebrews 2:14-18; Colossians 2:9; Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35; 6. 1 Corinthians 15:3-5; 1 John 2:2; Acts 13:39; Hebrews 4:14-15; 9:24-28; Matthew 25:31-34; Acts 1:11
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, and empower believers for service and to convict the world of sin. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, baptism with the Holy Spirit and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit including speaking in tongues, prophecies and other fruits of the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17; 10. John 16:7-11; 1 Corinthian 2:10-12. Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
We believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ will be personal and visible. We live in this hope and as encouragement for holy living and sacrificial service in furtherance of the great commission by Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; 1 Corinthians 1:7; Titus 2:11-14; Matthew 24:14; 28:18-20
